I'm friends with many work friends on facebook. Whenever I get a new friend request I always check to make sure I know who they are by taking a quick look at their profile. Even if I recognize the name right away. People make fake facebooks all the time. In addition, I didn't know the guy's last name. There are many people with the name "Chris," so I wanted to make sure I knew who this particular one was before accepting the request. I've been getting a bit of backlash about this thread. I didn't make it because of vanity/bragging/bitchiness, or whatnot. I made it because it was a silly thing that happened to me, and getting propositioned for a date in the workplace isn't really advisable (even though I know it has worked for some people *coughHolmescough*. Spam is a place for silly things (and bitching at people for posting silly things).
