"We found you by tracking your ship, to a point at least. We were coming here to Namek anyways too so I guess it's just convenient you happened to be here as well." Sasha explained, smiling slightly as she applied more of the gel, "And you hardly have to know someone to get along. Like I said, we're not the enemy here, we've got enough of those to go making more too. As long as you don't do wrong by us you're fine." If they were the Saiyans then the Frost Demon would be dead already, probably killed simply because he was an inconvenience. That in of itself ought to be testament enough the rebels were of a different breed, that they weren't going to turn on someone when they were down and hurt. The topic of the Saiyans was never something she loved to get into, but this time around she felt it necessary to make their own stance perfectly clear. "Yeah, they did, and we're trying to beat them. The one who took it over, Yamate, is the King of Saiyans and he's a really awful man. We've been trying to get him out of power for months now," Sasha said as she began wrapping the alien's arm in a bandage. "Kiton huh? That's an interesting name, and like I said, we're rebels. We're the ones trying to keep the Planet Trade from going on under the Saiyans, we're trying to get rid of it altogether I guess. It's a bit idealistic I know but we've been making progress." Once Kiton's arm was wrapped in bandages she moved about treating his chest and shoulders, finding little injuries all over. "My name is Sasha, by the way. You're lucky we found you when we did, things looked pretty bad down there." Takeshi really hated the notion of asking Ricken for anything, but he'd love to know the energy-blade technique he was using. It could be something wholly his own though, and if that was the case chances were the guy wouldn't share a single tidbit of information on it. They would have to just make due with their regular Ki attacks and his... Sword. "Well I woulda brought it with us if I thought we were killing this thing," the older boy remarked, frowning as he let out a sigh, "Woulda been real good practice too, damn." Casual banter had to come to a halt as the creature began screaming again, the sound making it feel like something was being drilled into Takeshi's ears. Covering them uselessly he cringed, clasping his hands over his ears tight as he could as he watched the monster begin to change itself. At least the few dozen tendrils weren't a problem anymore, but now those big trunks of arms were swinging, and apparently quite hard as Vegeta struggled to fend off an attack. Getting ready to charge an energy blast Takeshi's eyes widened seeing energy gathering in the monster's mouth, reflexively moving away to keep him and Shu well out of the blast range. It wasn't aimed at them but Ricken, and thankfully the rebel was quick enough to get out of the way, and good thing too; a sizable rock was blown to absolute bits from the blast, being hit by one of those would really suck. This wasn't right, the creatures had never been this sentient before. What was it about this one that was so different? Much as Vegeta tried to apply logic to this he simply couldn't, there had never been an encounter like this before. To make matters worse the creature was changing its attack pattern, just when they had been falling into a rhythm of dealing with the tendrils too. Hearing Viral shouting for him he waited to hear what had to be said, gasping when the creature shrieked and cut off the Beastman. Once the screaming had stopped he looked down to his friend, paling seeing Viral knocked out from the shout. To make matters even worse the monster appeared to acknowledge this and was taking a swipe at their fallen friend, getting dangerously close to cleaving him in two. Were it not for the timely intervention of Haku grabbing Viral and moving away he'd probably have been killed then and there. The situation had just become quite dire, they had no idea how to attack this creature and yet the need to slay it was even greater than before. "Yumi... With all due respect that is a terrible plan," Vegeta interjected, frowning as he stared up at the creature. There had to be a better plan of attack, a way to weaken it. Fortunately T'charrl was the voice of reason then, suggesting they blind the beast with their attacks. It could backfire, it could attack erratically if blinded and that would be dangerous as well, but with no other recourse it was their best bet. "We'll try that! Everyone, avoid its talons and go for the eyes, we'll take away its vision!" "So we're blinding it? Sounds easy enough!" Yumi said halfheartedly, smiling as she gathered Ki between her hands again, forming a decent sized ball before flying up into the air. With the energy fizzling away she hefted the orb above her head and tossed it down, aiming straight for the creature's face in an attempt to get to its eyes. Disappointingly however it appeared savvy to their idea, an arm rising up to take the blast and protect its face instead. Shoulder sinking some she looked at the monster in disbelief, absolutely confused as to how it could know what they were doing. Did it understand them? Watching as it turned on her and began to open its mouth Yumi gasped, flying up higher to try and keep well out of the monster's range, seeing the energy welling up within its maw. As it looked like it was about to fire the monster suddenly roared in pain, its head lifting up reflexively as the blast shot skyward and exploded well overhead; looking back down she could see Ricken at the monster's side, burying his arm in its flesh just behind the frills. "You like that, you freak?!" Ricken snapped, pulling out his arm as he grinned and gathered Ki around his limb again, "Here! Have more!" Driving his arm back through the flesh he grunted from the resistance the hard skin gave, shouting as he pushed further and managed to pierce the outer skin. Then, fueling his energy he gave a shout and tore his arm down, creating a meter long gash on its neck before ultimately pulling his arm free. So they either needed really sharp edges for the hide or they had to burn away the protective layers before striking, that seemed to be the case. Smiling smugly Ricken let out a gasp as the monster began bucking, grabbing hold of its skin as he tried to keep from being thrown off. There wasn't much to grab onto, and after a moment the rebel was sent tumbling off, being smacked by the monster and sent crashing into a nearby cliff.
