When Jonah talked Mary looked at him while furrowing her brows. She still didn't know what to think of him. He talked to much and to her he was way too confident of himself. One that claims himself to have high intelligence wouldn't walk up to a group of people when one is holding a gun. She listened to the National Guard to, his answer was honest and raw to her. She wondered what had happened to him and watched as the soldier left and wondered what it was that made him shake. A smile played on her face a bit as Irene came back into the room and made a comment about lack of interest. Mary decided she should answer too. "I'm alive because I'm lucky," Mary said while shrugging her shoulders. The doctor in her was trying to diagnose the guard as he came back out but she merely blamed it on the fact that maybe he was hungry. She looked at the herbal tea. With a small sigh, she dropped her hands to her sides and shrugged off her bag, placing it on the ground before walking over to the tea. She picked up a mug. "Thank you," she said to Irene.
