To answer your question, there will be parts of the world were crude machines and other mechanical constructs can exist, but it's a rare thing to see. Basic matchlock weapons, such as the Tanegashima would be around here and there, but the armies of the kingdom would still be using swords, spears and bows and arrows to fight with. Imagine a world like Final Fantasy 9, but with slightly less advanced levels of technology. I hope that helps?

If not, you won't see cars or robots. You will see constructs of stone however if you're adept enough in the use of magic.
