Nolan didn't have time to waste on the Genie anyhow. He had to go and find a third person for the job or else they wouldn't be able to go. The problem was however that everyone he even looked at wouldn't even look him in the eyes because a general population of the guild was actually afraid of this guy. There had been rumors that before he joined Phoenix Wing, Nolan had brutally killed many criminals that had crossed his path, truly vindicating whoever was unlucky enough to be the target of his wrath. Hardly anyone wanted to confirm whether those rumors were true or not and they certainly didn't want to see the God Slayer leave a bloody smear of whoever met his magic. They would be correct; the rumors of him killing many are true, but those were situations were leaving them alive would mean death for him and for others so he had to make the call. It's not like he minded killing them. Criminals that kill for gain and selfishness or even for the fun of it do not have the right to live, at least in Nolan's eyes.
