Well, the only thing that makes husks husks is that they're soulless; an empty living shell of a person. I don't count artificial souls in the mix, but even if I did, the Oases do not use souls of any kind in the husks.

Er, in case I'm not wording things well, husks can only have souls if they're infused with one outside of an oasis.
