Aw darn. Good thing for me there's translations out there.
If I had a German transcript, I wouldn't have a problem reading it. It's partly the fact it's sung in a particular way that's distracting, with an accent that I find difficult. For example, the singer pronounces 'ich' (I) as 'ish', when I pronounce it in a way that I can't spell phonetically in English because we just don't have that sound: I kinda stick my tongue against the roof of my mouth so it's just touching my top teeth and hiss (kinda like a cat hisses, but at the front of the mouth rather than the back). Little things like that cause me to misunderstand words and lose meaning. The worst is my Dutch. I learned off a Fleming (a Dutch-speaking Belgian), whose accent is very clean, precise and clear. When I hear actual Dutch people speak, it sounds like they're gargling lighter fuel rather than saying actual words.
Motion Carried
Car ride will henceforth be skipped. I'll give Call until I'm sick of waiting to get back to us, and then let me know when you want to move on. Beware, the following Expo-post will have a huuuuuuge amount of expo in it.
