Samuel heard the boy's reaction before the soldier embarked in his overly complicated path into the building. In this situation Samuel was never going to understand because he preferred to keep his feet standing on the ground unless he rode his horse. True there was no fighting going on up there but the idea of a battle on something like a bridge or unstable territory did not give Samuel a good feeling. After the soldier was gone Samuel thought it was time to reveal his source of concern. "I'm not too worried about you getting pelted with spells. Heck we could spent the next two minutes find a mage to blast you some more. What I am concerned about was if you would be able to swing that sword all day or am I going to fighting the last guy with nothing more than moral support because you pulled a shoulder." He quietly bantered.
