Eden shifted uneasily at his answer. She felt a small hint of frustration with him welling up inside her, along with a mixture of other emotions. She pursed her lips together and became a bit bolder with her words. "What are you even going off about? Since when did you start talking about our friends like that?" she said defensively. The costumers there were listening but didn't dare to look over. Still Eden caught a couple people nearby flinch as she spoke, as if expecting the worse was to follow. It only fueled her to speak up more though, which might not have been a good thing. "Don, everyone is terrified of you. You even attacked Evan at one point didn't you?" she questioned him again but in a more demanding tone. Even though his presence was rather intimidating at the moment, Eden was blinded by the image of the Donovan she knew.
