Collab Edo Larazus and Edo-Sasha Edo-Lazarus slowly raised his head up when the door was pushed slightly. He didn't know who it was. "Hey... Can you help me please? I was being foolish.... And it took me all the way from that bed to here. I need to get back to there." He muttered, still having no idea it was edo-Sasha. "well at least you admit you were being foolish" Edo-Sasha replied, her voice stable, she nudged the door open further, "did you bloody crawl?" she only looked at Edo-Lazarous with quick, fleeting glances. The voice he heard made him freeze solid again. He shook a little before he breathed out heavily and spoke. "Yeah. I did." True he had tried to walk, but he covered most of the distance by crawling. Edo sasha soghed softly. She looked away as she said softly, "I shouldn't have run off like that. I just...was overwhelmed" that was the simplest explanation at least. She knelt, so she could take one of his arms around her shoulders, so that she she rose, she could lift him and offer some support. "to bed" He took her help, and somehow got to his feet. "Yeah. Bed." They started to walk towards the bed. The pain was just as bad as before, but it was ok because she was there. They were about halfway there moving slowly. "You know, I can accidently forget about that if you wanted." He looked sideways at her. He didn't need to explain what he meant, she knew. Edo-Sasha gave a soft laugh, "it isn't that easy to forget thinhs, Lazarous." she said, as she eased him down, she stepped back, uncertainty ruling her, and she hated it. She didn't know what to say or do, and it made her feel useless and just plain...normal. Not a feeling she enjoyed. No one, apart from her guild members had ever truly seen her. "what do you see when you look at me?" she asked, the uncertainty in her voice audible He sat on the edge of the bed as she asked her question. He wasn't quite sure what to say. "What do I see?" He paused. "I see a strong, beautiful woman, who I just crawled across a damn floor for, just to speak to a little longer." He continued. "I see someone who is more than meets the eye." He lay back on the bed. "So what do you see when you look at me?" Well, that was a pretty could answer, and it made her smile. She swallowed and look aside when he asked the same question of her. She thought of the way he had looked at Liana, his desperate need to help her. The way he had jumped in front of her, foolishly. And how pitiful he looked, on the floor of the infirmary. "loyalty" she said softly, simply. "that's what I see" she seemed to hesitate, glancing to him quickly, briefly. "why like me?" He ruffled the back of his head, "I'm not sure, it's just you. That's it. Just you. Nobody else." He couldn't think of a better answer than 'just her'. Was he retarded? Come on! However nothing else would leave his mouth, no matter how hard he tried. just you Such simple words and yet not so simple. She looked away again, seeming unable to now look at him, colour rising in her cheeks. How...lovely to simple be...someone's...one. And why couldn't she just give that back? Well she knew the answer to that. Because she was scared. She feared getting close to someone like that. And yet hadnt she done that, with Her guild members? She hesitated, swallowing and eventually, after what problem seemed a long time, looking back to Edo-Lazarous. "I....don't know what to say. What to do. I..." she stopped herself, after very nearly saying she was scared. But her voice quivered, and she looked down She was embarassed. Crap. "Nonono I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that miss.... I mean Sasha!" He bowed his head. He composed himself. "Sometimes.... People like us... People that are more than meets the eye.... Need to be protected, and need to have someone to protect." He squeezed that out of his mouth, shaking a little. He looked up at her. Edo sasha didn't know what was worse. The fact that he had missed the fear, or the fact that he seemed to think it was his words, that he thought she was upset by what he had sai. "well. You definetely need to be protected" she said, with a slight tone of amusement. She sat down, because it seemed the best option, and she paused, ran a hand through her hair, "and maybe I have to be too. Doesn't mean I have to like it, nor....nor does it mean that I resent you. Far from it" She had sat down. "Yeah. I don't like to have to be protected. But I know I need someone to do it." He smiled a little. He looked at her. He was sure he wanted it to be her, but the risk of embarrassment was too great at this point. "I know you don't resent me Sasha. I understand why you would dislike me though. I only hope I can be forgiven for my foolish actions towards you." He bowed his head. He really did like her. But it wouldn't ever be able to be, as far as he thought anyway. She would be exiled by her guild were she to fall for him. Edo sasha sighed softly, "If I disliked you, I would have let you die" she replied, and I certainly wouldn't have cried she thought to herself or kissed him She needed to change the subject, if only slightly. "what...what will you do now? Go back to Liana? Or...or stay here?" she asked softly He thought for a moment. "My duty is to keep Liana safe until my death. This guild did my job for all those years she was missing." He sighed. "I have to go back and keep her safe. It is my sworn duty until she releases me from it. However, until that day." he rolled back his tunic sleeve to reveal his upper arm. "I said I never had any family in this world. If I could... I would like to be part of this family right here." He had revealed his arm as an indication of where he would want a guild mark were he to be allowed. Edo-Sasha rose almost silently, heading out the room. She knew where the guild marker was-just about everyone did, after all. She had been the one to give her brother his mark. And of course, EL-Sasha hers when she was trying to be passed off as Edo-Sasha. She returned, not saying anything. She didn't even ask him what colour he would like, instead, she chose white, and stamped his upper arm. "I think all of us need to remember out earthlander counterparts. This way, you will always remember that there is an angel version of you, and that you are both apart of our guild" She set the stanp aside, and looked to Edo Lazarus He was shocked. He looked down at the white mark. "Wow... So this is what it's like to be in a guild ey?" The mark looked good, and Sasha's words were sweetness to his ears. "Yeah, I won't be forgetting him in a hurry." He smiled. This was stupid. He was giving her up. But he was part of their family now, surely that wouldn't matter? "Tell me Sasha... What do the people of this guild think about me? I doubt I will be welcomed with open arms." He muttered solemnly. He looked at her with worrying eyes. Edo-Sasha leaned back, and sighed. "I think most of them merely think you are foolish. But they can understand, and that goes a long way to fixing things. But the Mark means Family. It means acceptance. It means forgiveness for foolish action, and it means that we have your back" She said softly, "That's why I got it over my heart. Because it felt like home, more so than my parents home" He was taken a back. "I see..." It was a start. She revealed the true meaning behind the positioning of her mark. "That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard." He sighed dotingly. "I have to be honest with you. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to live my life now. I feel slightly empty inside." Edo-Sasha laughed "None of us have any idea how to live our lives. We just do. She said, looking out the window, into the land she loved. She could see Ben, Playing outside, probably as he was without a legion to look after for now,, taking the time to have some fun. "You just have to do what makes you happy" "Yeah... Happy." He looked at the mark. He looked back at her. "That sounds like a good idea. A life without self restriction." He sighed. "I think I'll like this family." Edo sasha smiled, and gave a nod before rising, "it isn't so much a life without self restriction as it is...a place to belong. I'll go see about some food now" she said"don't go falling out of bed againl He reacted as she got up. "Wait!" He lightly gripped her wrist as pulled her back to get a hand on her shoulder. He leaned himself forward and kissed her softly on the forehead, before repeating on the lips. He let her go and blushed. "Now we both have something to fail to forget" he smiled embarrassingly. Edo-Sasha froze. It wasn't the kiss-or rather, not just simply the kiss. She tried to remember any time someone, anyone, had kissed her on the forehead, and couldn't. You would think your parents would, but her's hadn't. She looked away, if only to hide the sudden tears that filled her eyes. "I..." but she had no words, so she turned to go see about food, if only to give her a few moments to herself, to try and sort everything out. She couldn't help but think that something had changed. She sighed softly, as she went to get food. She looked around, but the last two days, the guild had seemed...if not sad, but preoccupied. They hadn't found Edo-Karn, and she was worried. It seemed more and more likely as the days went by that something had happened to her, amd Edo-Sasha couldn't stand the not knowing. Would there be anyone of finding out what had happened to Edo-Karn? she didn't think so. And wasn't that just wrong? Shouldn't they know about their guild member, their family? She gritted her teeth, and realised she had stopped, as if to suddenly turn, and march out the guild, to hunt down the answers. But she couldn't. She couldn't leave the guild undefended, and she couldn't leave Edo-Lazarus alone. gods know what he would do, if she didn't come back. Sometimes, being responsible was a pain in the butt, Edo-Sasha thought, sighing. "If you're out there, Karn, please, give us some sign. So we can know" She whispered softly to herself, as she went to the bar, seeing that there was stew. Well, if it meant she didn't have to cook. "We miss you." Sudden frustration took her, and the simple fact that she just couldn't do anything. She sighed again, and filled bowls with soup.
