Sylvia glanced at the feline Xanara who took a seat near her, striking up a conversation before quickly adding that Sylvia didn't need to reply. She smiled at the girl, white pointy teeth flashing as she finished her braid. "Yeah, I just arrived," Sylvia answered, observing the other as her hands neatly folded on her lap. She felt as though the other Xanara was like her, a person who frequently fought and killed. She blinked a few times, before dazing out, the girl in front of her blurring. A few more lively roars bounced around the room, startling Sylvia into reality. "Ah, my name is Sylvia," she stammered, politely extended her right hand for a shake. A long time ago, Sylvia had made an awful mistake of greeting others with a nip and a rub to the face, her body automatically going through her kind's old traditions. She felt pleasantly proud of herself; she was adjusting fairly well. Before the other girl could answer, another curious creature approached, directing his questions towards the feline Xanara. Sylvia hastily withdrew her hand, her attention caught by the newcomer. "Ah, the earthquake? I saw something falling out of the sky before it happened but I'm not sure what it was," she murmured.
