I'm a newb when it comes to Warhammer 40k, I just started Warhammering (lol) a couple weeks ago and my lore is pretty poop,

so to make sure no one RPs as a dude who :airquotes knows no fear :airquotes Lets not have any marines or spess wolves or generally anyone who would look at something scary and go. [i]Meh. I seen something ten times worst[/i]

So. this is my idea

1 We're going to use Slaanesh [@Razael]
2 Instead of Imperials we're a batch of Inqusitors from all three of the Ordo Groups (Ordo Xenos, Ordo Malleus, Ordo Hereticus) but however, the group of Inqusitors are all Fresh-into-recruitment Acolytes which were sent to "prove there worth" instead of the more Experienced Throne Agents

this way it makes sense that there are inqusitors but also no one is a Dude who :airquotes knows no fear :airquotes

3 all of the People on the outpost are already dead Or Slaanesh cultists[@DJAtomika]

4 the Colony was put there because it was filled with enough resources to last the Imperium Millenniums, and Some secret weapons 

So hears my Idea so far

A outpost on a freezing cold empty world but filled with Precious Minerals to last the Imperium Millenniums went dark and all communications were interrupted, a Batch of Inqusitor Acolytes were sent to find out what went wrong, 

the Outpost was taken over by Slaanesh Cultists who were the former crew Captured all of the non-cultist crewmembers to use to summon Slaanesh,

So at this rate I think we're ready to start, any more questions or ideas?
