Thanks Gisk. I like an rp where there aren't restrictive limited bloodlines to chose from. I like open choice on character development with the maturity of the players being plenty enough to mitigate utter nonsense. I think age and power shouldn't be limited, however playing a simple human should be just as wondrous and fun due to character depth and the opportunity to write your way out of very dangerous situations. I like danger. I like description. I like when people are into their own ideas and get to drive the plot as much as anyone else. I like when characters start off with some kind of connections already established between each other, like an enmity, family, or attraction. I'm a little older myself, so I'm not into rainbow haircolor and dragons, but a semi-believable world would be perfect. I really do love the modern world, and allowing some degree of science fiction technology helps level the playing field with humans. I like having vampires being known to exist, but letting players chose whether their character might be still masquerading. I also like incorporating remote ties to angels and demons. I'm not set on any lore for "where vampires came from," but that mystery could evolve in game. Specific weaknesses or styles of turning don't bother me, but explaining vampirism as a virus or with alien worms is gross. I'm also not a huge fan of 'original' or born vampires. IMO immortals just should never get pregnant.
