As she got ready for a new day to start, Katherin reflected on the night before she had never thought to spend a whole evening dancing with one boy. Katherin was glad Jack hadn't taken off, of course it helped that the committee stuck to mostly love songs. Before heading to class Katherin typed an email telling her dad about the dance. Then she went to Phoebe's room. Which to her surprise was empty. In all the excitement Katherin hadn't given a lot of thought to Phoebe's absence from the dance. She had figured her friend was off with Ryan. A letter left with what appeared to be a solid lilac told her that Phoebe had taken off with her mother to learn more about her powers and her mom. While Katherin understood Phoebe's desire to get to know her mom, because she shared the same desire, she was sad she hadn't been able to say goodbye to her friend. She hoped in time Phoebe would come back. Missing her friend Katherin headed to the cafeteria to get some breakfast.

Zack rarely argued with Griffin, but the morning after the dance they argued about who was going to be in charge. Zack was sure he had proven that most of the students were not out to get them. They had mostly been ignored yesterday. Griffin argued that yesterday had been different because of the dance, nothing more. Finally they compromised. Griffin would be in charge but he would not lock Zack down until the other students began showing signs of aggression. That decided the headed to the cafeteria to get some breakfast.
