So I saw your RP, and had a nerdgasm. My first thought was "This is how Firefly started out!" And ran around my living for a good ten minutes thinking up a character. My favorite character in Firefly was Inara Serra, the Companion. She had an air about her that made people think twice or look over her. It's how I feel in everyday life. But while thinking of a background for my character, I thought "I'm going to have an issue if I can't get from the main ship to planetside on my own."

But after a fruitless search for a ship of my own on google images, I wanted to ask about a shuttle I could rent on the main ship? It could be viable that the hatches on either side of what I assume is the bridge could hold shuttles that came with the ship.

That aside, the summary of my character would be similar to Inara. A companion that rents out a shuttle to help pay for necessities and such for the ship. She could also know electronics and pilot the main ship. I'm diverging from Inara in the aspect that my character wouldn't JUST be a companion.

And another tangent....what about anthromorphs. If we've colonized the solar system, would it be a stretch to think that we'd mess with genetics and have the ability to gain animal traits?
