This is what meaningful writing I could get out in 5 minutes.

Lightning crackles through the air and sings
A song too slow for anyone to hear
But soon enough within our ears it rings
The lightning dulled to nothing but a blear.

I considered trying to make another two lines, but couldn't think of anything for after "The facet of the storm that is its king." Alas.
