Desi is often considered the hyperactive child stuck in a woman's body. She's bubbly and talks all the time. She giggles at inappropriate times and smiles quite often at everyone. There are moments, however, when a switch goes off and Desi turns into a rueful witch. When she gets angry she doesn't hold anything back- screaming and fighting with someone at the drop of a pen. As long as she's taking her medication she's a really nice person!

Desi first discovered her gift at the age of six- when she turned her illuminessence on and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. She walked around glowing and shimmering for three weeks straight- try having to sleep like that! The only thing she found nice about her powers was he never had to turn on the light to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. And it was also pretty to look at, but other than that it was useless. 

Desi was diagnosed bipolar at the age of ten when a male student called her power stupid and she stabbed a pencil through his hand. She has been on medication ever since- antidepressants are the reason behind her often inappropriate responses and constantly smiling. She now works as a waitress in a small coffee shop in the middle of the busy city.[/centre]
