Adrian stared at Kalinda with a haunted expression as she fell in with his step. He'd seen many bad things in his life, and done a few bad things as well, but never something this horrid. Never in his life had he harmed or allowed to be harmed through his actions children. It was safe to say that he was shaken to his core at the carnage he'd bore witness to. Adrian opened and closed his mouth, however no words came out as he made an attempt to respond. Eventually he just gave up and gave a weak nod before shuffling towards the medical tent.
