Sue
Jack Well they were not having the race today. Gym came first. He looked over at his dorm. He could stay home if he needed to. He wanted to be around his fellow students. He changed up into a white tee shirt and red shorts. He then walked over to the gym. When he got there he sat down on one of the bleachers and waited. He looked completely bored.
Students were coming, many more loud ones, unaware of Sue’s capabilities. She needed to move. She hoped that whoever was in charge, her caretakers, her teachers, the principle, knew what to do for the sake of everyone. For the time-being, Sue moved with quiet steps towards the bleachers. Left hand held her right arm, head down; bangs and overflowing hair loose from her beanie became a veil to her face. Sue could see the light floor and the indicating coloured lines, but saw no one else – no one, but one boy. She hoped to have made eye contact, but nevertheless he was not looking in her way. Her steps resounded loud, echoing from her ears, the source of her power. She made her way up to the top of the bleachers, hoping to be away from as much noise as possible. She watched the rest of the crowd amass to the center. Greeting, friendly laughs, the sort of interaction she missed. The sort of interaction she could no longer afford to do. She pressed down on her earmuffs, and inhaled deeply.
