I have been making minor edits but I think a revamp is needed like you said. I still want the sword, it is important to her past, I just made it drain stamina instead. As for the gun she still needs it, sometimes it is quicker to just shoot someone instead of taking the time to cast a fireball, plus it would be a waste of a spell if is is just some grunt :P I can make it more useful but maybe putting silver bullets to counter other supernatural beings. 
I like the idea change for the kiss ability, plus more chances to be flirty since that is what she is all about, haha.
