Booker sighed mentally at the less than adequate speech. His body was on autopilot while he thought about some of the people he made short conversation with while on the ride to the Academy. Some of them seemed nice, but others don't tolerate Faunus and it sickened him to see people like that. There wasn't anything he could do about it, and it that in mind he simply put his thoughts to rest for the moment. He wouldn't get anywhere by sulking around, so he had to make the best of things and seek out people who'd accept him and his kind. As the "Speech" Finished, Booker looked around and examined some of the faces in the room, Some of them Faunus like him, and the rest of them human. None of them seemed to glare at him when their eyes connected, but if he ever actually connected eyes with anyone it didn't last more than a second before he looked to someone else, so he didn't know if they were glaring daggers or not. As he looked around, his attention was momentarily captured by another faunus, having dark grey hair and yellow eyes. He sent out a small smile to the woman and continued to look around, knowing that sooner or later he'd have to make friends and teammates.
