Well, it takes more than three, so we'll see what goes. Basically, they will be part of the infantry and it means they'll be under Rebel regular command and probably in some sort of uniform. The Rebellion isn't all about spit polish perfection, but the characters will probably be getting their supplies from the same sources, so they'll probably start looking like each other eventually.
