[@Aqutanama] i'm not saying they would take it as a threat against them. but like i said they are in an underground station so they are careful about explosives and fires. if your claymore went off, for any reason, the blast risks collapsing the tunnel which is why they wouldn't want you placing explosives around.

sure people would avoid him and he may get slightly different treatment for his reputation but they won't risk the safety of the settlement because he's paranoid. 

now i'm not saying he can't have a trap in his room, they just wouldn't let him have explosives set.
