Apparently it ended with the PUNCH OF FRIIIEEEENNNNDDDSSSHHHHIIIPPPPP! I fucking HATE when being friends with someone gives the main character power-ups >.> Friendship helps, that's fine, but it's doesn't give you powers like dafuq? o.O It probably boosts you up but it could just be a set up to fail >.> That's my main issue with some of these Animes... 
I need to start reading Manga... But I'm in the mood for a romance story that gains more problems than happy endings oxo a failed romance story kinda type.
