With deep and still calm breaths and techniques that he had practiced his entire life Ryuku continued to flow. Not breaking in stride and refusing to give up the leverage he had on his opponent. A fight could very well be ended with the sort of advantage he currently had, disabling a hand or an arm was crippling against someone that relied on weapons, especially such a large weapon. Ryuku knew his predicament, he saw it coming but there was not much he could do about it, his only hope was to use his technical advantage and body mechanics against his opponent. If the man got away Ryuku was sure he would not so carelessly let him close the gap again. As Arcturios turned his hips but did not move his legs to try and reposition himself Ryuku yanked as hard down as he possibly could, at the same time bending his opponents wrist as much as he could, all while continuing his graceful steps to his left, his opponents right, rotating his body by placing his right foot behind him to only present his left profile to Arcturios, this also served to put him behind the man’s arm. He hoped the sudden jerk and continued pressure would be enough to dislocate or break the delicate bones in the wrist, snap the elbow or maybe dislocate the shoulder. There was a catch however; at such close range and even while pivoting Ryuku could not hope to evade his opponent’s weapon entirely. The man was too skilled and had to great of control on the weapon. He was thankful that the man hadn’t stabbed at his legs and instead attacked where Ryuku could bring his other arm to defend. His left arm came out and across his body to guide the bladed weapon away from him. The blade easily sliced through the wrapped bandages, skin and muscle as it slid along the side of his forearm. It wasn’t an ideal block and the edge, even after guided past, would still graze along his open side as well. While not as deep as the cut on his arm it would still bleed freely down his right side and soak into his pants.
