Yes, that is how it started, but no, that is not what it transitioned to. You never wrote her leg getting inside his so she could lock down the ankle, so David was still fully between her legs when he sat up, which was specifically stated in my post (both her legs were outside his as he sat up). I'm afraid there's nothing to compromise on, that's simply how it happened. She was very clearly only halfway to the position depicted in the second picture, with the ankle trapped but both her legs on the outside of his. 

What you seem to be doing is trying to pass guard without actually doing anything TO pass guard. She never made a single move to get his free leg to a position where she could get around it and you dropped into an ankle lock from a very disadvantageous position for it. This is what I was talking about when I said everything needs to be detailed. If she is going to pass guard, it must actually be written that she tries to pass guard (and how). You left out an entire section of the move she was trying to accomplish, and now you're trying to compromise on something that was never actually in the posts. I'm sorry, but I prefer to play things out as they've been written, not as we want them to be.
