Appearance: [img]http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lusnnwnuY91qmpx83.png[/img] Code Name: Crosscut Real Name: Ray Stevans Age: 35 Gender: Male Nationality: American Powers: Crosscut has the ability to teleport. Unfortunately though, he cannot just teleport anywhere he wants. Crosscut has a limited unconscious extrasensory ability that prevents him from teleporting into any area that he cannot see or has not seen in the past, as doing so runs the risk of injury or death by materializing partially or entirely within a solid object. Through practice, Crosscut has increased the mass he can teleport with him, though the limit to the amount of weight he can carry when teleporting and the distance over which he can teleport with such additional loads are unknown. Origins/History: When Ray was sixteen, he was walking home from his high school when a drunk driver swerved. With the car heading straight for him, and with no time to get out of the way, Ray closed his eyes and prepared for the cold hands of death to take him. When nothing happened, Ray opened his eyes to find himself not only unharmed but somehow in the middle of his living room. Ray didn't know how he had gotten this strange new ability, and he didn't really care anyway, but now that he had it he began to take advantage of it, barely ever walking to any location now that he could just appear there in an instant. It was this abuse of his new power that caught the U.S. government's attention, and as soon as he turned eighteen they recruited him for a new program known as MetaOps and gave him his new name: Crosscut. Since then, Crosscut has participated in MetaOps' most dangerous and clandestine missions, and currently leads the strike team put together to recover the weapon created by Project: God Complex. Personality: Being in MetaOps for around seventeen years now, Crosscut has matured a lot since when he first got his powers. He has gained a very tactical mindset and almost every action he does is planned out in advance to receive the best results for the mission at hand. Even something as simple as socializing is only done to increase team morale.
