Vegeta couldn't help but place blame on himself, certainly no one else here was at fault. He'd been the sole person working towards the cure and it failed, how could anyone else possible be at fault here? He loathed to be in such a pitiful state, but seeing Viral having changed in spite of all he'd tried to do was just shattering. Hardly even able to face Viral he frowned when the Beastman began to chastise him, glancing up somberly as he was berated. "I'm not ashamed of you though... That's the thing. You've shown nothing but progress since this whole venture started, and you have been improving. Though obviously by the current state of things not by enough, meaning the work I did up until now wasn't good enough." He had gone into this project knowing he wouldn't be able to fully solve the problem, and yet being faced with that as a definitive truth now made it no less difficult to accept. Hearing Viral say it made things easier for him was slight condolence, yet it would have to be enough lest he spend the next few hours moping around like a miserable lout. Closing his eyes Vegeta let out a long sigh, shaking his head before smiling faintly and glancing towards the craters behind them. "Seeing how you handled that monster I could never be ashamed of you, nor have I ever been. You're a testament to true strength, you did what none of us could do even in a sick state. And you thought your days of fighting were through." Shu wasn't the only one that needed to wash up, most everyone was covered in dirt and dried blood at this point. Of course should some of them with open wounds go swimming it would probably be a real pain, literally and figuratively, so maybe best they hold off for now. Takeshi didn't want to keep sitting here either even tired as he was, but he knew there was little option otherwise. Tch, being ordered around by Shu, well this was certainly a change of pace. Smiling slightly the older boy could only resign himself to do as he was told, laying his hands in his lap and watching his sibling. "Alright, alright, you win. I'm not going anywhere buddy, see?" he said, smiling as he held up his hands. No sooner had Shu gone and left did he come back in, evidently in a bit of a fit over some flying green people as he put it. Furrowing his brow confused Takeshi let out a sigh, shaking his head before shrugging his shoulders. "Uh... You told me to sit here, didn't you? That sounds like Namekians, but I can't exactly see anything from here." He could feel some powers coming close though, and they were none he recognized. Either they were the locals coming to investigate or there were yet more people on this planet besides them. Yumi smiled with relief seeing T'charrl come back to his senses. She had worried for a moment they might have to subdue him, if for his own good, yet he'd come back unto his own. Before she could even begin to inspect any wounds they had to get him clean, as the goo on his body was quite literally going to knock her out it was so foul. "Come on, I'll help you, we'll find some shallow water," she suggested, knowing he had an aversion to getting wet. Waving him on as she started towards the shore Yumi sensed a group of powers fast approaching, pausing in her step and looking to the sky to see the Namekians. What a stroke of luck, the people who they were searching for had come to them, and just in time too! Hopefully they could offer some medical aid too, she wasn't sure what they had done would really suffice for long. "I don't see the beast anymore, are we certain it was here?" one of the Namekians asked, frowning as he scanned the area below. "Yes, this is where it was last sighted. Look at all of the damage down there though, and over there," another said, pointing to the group off in the distance, "It seems like they must have been fighting. But did they kill it? There seems to be so few of them..." "There's only one way to find out. Be on your guard everyone, we don't know who they are yet or why they're here. Until we know for certain don't relax." The one who spoke was the largest of the group, a bit bulky and wearing a set of baggy pants, a gray tunic with a scarf wrapped around his neck, concealing the lower half of his face. One of his eyes were closed with a scar running vertically over it, and one of his antennae was partially missing. Gesturing for everyone to descend he led the way, coming down behind the shuttle as one by one each of the Namekians set foot. Right away he saw Shu and realized what he was, feeling his allies tensing up behind him; a Saiyan here on their world? This couldn't be good, though he seemed a bit young to be conquering them. The others with him, including the two unusual looking ones, just who were they? "You there, boy! Who are you and why are you on our world?"
