Master Jamie Jamie gave a soft sigh, "The difference, Ariel, is that you are not a world, but a person. You are not in any danger, nor are you dangerous. Well. you could be, but then we all could be. No, what I meant by dangerous was that the worlds balance could easily be destroyed if the two worlds were to intersect. What has been occurring the last few decades has been enough to dramatically shift magic here. But you are not in any danger from your heritage. Your magic shows that you are, however, a curious mix of opposites." Jamie said to Ariel As the child ran to her, Jamie smiled, watching as she chose the candy she wanted. "polite as always, little one." Jamie said, kneeling to give the girl a hug, looking up as Prince...strutted around the guild. As he mentioned looking for Karn, Jamie rose slowly, watching the man walk about, kissing and being touchy-feely. "What do you want with Karn?" He asked, his voice mildly curious, with a tone of wariness in it. At the pounding on the door, quite weak, Jamie looked over. "Lets put a pause in this conversation. Stay back. Something isn't quite right" Jamie said suddenly, moving to the doors, she created a thick wall of air between the doors and the street as she opened them. He saw the girl, frowned, "Stay back, everyone" He instructed, crouching, behind his wall of air, as he studied the girl. "And this Ariel is what I mean by the strange circumstances of magic happening in our world. Different kinds of magic is appearing, most we still do not understand" Jamie didn't bring the wall of air down, as she watched the girl, wary. "You need something, don't you? What could it be..." They studied the girl for a few moments, watching their face, before suddenly rising, and going to the bar. Without a word, Jamie lifted a bowl, and taking a knife, sliced it across his own palm, the blood dripping into the bowl. Jamie was very careful to keep what she was doing out of sight, especially out of sight of Elyse. With a practice smoothness, her hand was bandaged, and he tipped the blood into a mug, and walked to the door. Jamie crouched once more, and then nudged the mug out, briefly creating a small hole in the wall of air. "There's children in here, so forgive me for not inviting you in for now"
