[@clericbeast] Well, even mutts have backgrounds. Like the alley in which they were born and all. It's okay if you portray a character who lives sort of like a gypsy/wildman/nomad who doesn't recognize borders and cultures, and thus is ignorant of them. Or perhaps an urchin of the streets with no idea of the wider world. But that shouldn't be an excuse for not writing a convincing character. I need to see life. If it is to be found under a rock, so be it.
