The blade went true and found its mark. It wasn't a vital spot so the man wasn't going to die any time soon, but it was deep enough in the fleshy part of the Captain's massive leg to comfortably say the fight was over. That's what Abigail thought as she saw blood start to squirt where steel and flesh fused into one. Of course she was wrong though, the man had plenty of fight left in him, evident by the fact his arm pulled back and flashed towards her, smashing its way into her gut. I went down only so much before her stomach muscles were able to stop the limb from going through her. All that force just couldn't be stopped. It wasn't just a matter of finding something that wasn't going to yield and calling it quits. It had to go somewhere. It started by lifting the red headed captain off the ground, and then sending her flying through the wall. She didn't release the blade so it came with her, without any protest. A long stream of blood reached out to pull the steel back but it didn't have any strength. Before Abigail released what was happening she hit the wall. It gave first and she continued flying for some time, passing through a few more inefficient stone barriers before she saw the kid and hit something that wasn't as soft as a wall but a lot harder than wood. She rolled on the ground and shook her head throwing off the daze like a dog shook off water. "HEy kid." She mumbled getting to her feet, adn turning to see what broke her trajectory. "Well at least I got one marine down for the count today." She laughed, and then winced as a hand moved to her side. "Damn that smarts. "
