I walked into the room, notebook in hand. I saw the girl sitting there. She was pretty, her hair a slightly more vibrant shade than mine. "Hey," I said, in be chillaxed tone. I didn't want to sound harsh or demanding, that wasn't my style. If I was going to interrogate someone it would be my way, the warmer way. Especially with someone like her, amnesiac, new to town, it would be a lot if after being questioned you were questioned by some other person you didn't know. So I smiled, honestly, and introduced myself. "I'm Thana Vera. Freelance journalist and writer. It's nice to meet you," I waged a bit, as if to say'yes I finished introducing myself' before continuing a bit more, "I'm the one to ask if you need information or help with town residents or getting around town."
