"I feel like making amends with our friends. They obviously got it bad and could use some good news for their sake." Donovan said figuring it would be as good a start as any and very much wanting to fix what had been undone. He moved up with Eden and Marlon to start the walk back, it wouldn't take long he figured, and he thought about what he could say if Carly, Evan, Jackie, and the rest would even listen to him, he had a feeling Aya and her father might be more interested in seeing him shot. This time he had help in the form of Eden who was far more likely to be able to get through to them because they still trusted her. His father would be able to reason with the older half of the town rather well because he stopped his son where almost no one else tried. It would probably still take time but getting the word out would get him back into favor eventually and help people know that there was still a good side to him. Donovan had been making a concerted effort to clear his mind just to help make the trip as quick as possible so they could get back somewhere warm and because being out in the forest was making him a bit uneasy. Donovan would do his best to keep a good pace as they started to head back to town not going to fast or slow but enough to warm up slightly along the way. He wasn't sure where to find many of his friends because of the separation so he hoped Eden would be able to figure that part out at least. Marlon would most likely leave them to it and do what he could on his side hoping for the best.
