Poor girl feel right back as some sort of armored dude pointed a spear at her. Samuel felt dozens of beady little eyes giving him the business. The little girl he was threatening, meanwhile, let out a yelp and scrambled to her feet before darting off along the side of the building. The birds followed her movement with their heads, turned to give him one last collective stinkeye, then took off after her.
