Kyo looked around at the others conversing now that the girl with the ice had finished. Who would be going next? Had they all gone already? Since he had arrived after the rest had gotten started, he supposed that he could have missed any number of demonstrations. At least, he had assumed that this was a demonstration based on the way the girl had gone about showing her power, but he still wondered if he should ask first just to be sure; it wouldn't do to mess up whatever was going on here because he hadn't followed the instructions. Never mind that he had been too late to hear them. 

Eventually, he decided to wait just a bit longer before asking. If someone else went up and he could figure out what he had missed without bothering anyone, he thought that it would be much preferable.
