Victoria Ultimara, The Black Angel On the plane Ravinca: Victoria kicked a piece of rubble out off her way as she walked through a ruined remains of a once thriving city block. Her kick revealed a small detached hand that was still clutching a child's doll. The sight brought Victoria to pause. This was the level of destruction that she opposed. There was no reason given for this atrocity, there was not warning given to those who were destroyed, they were not even given a chance or hope to defend themselves. Not often did the immortal council of the Orzhov get moved to action, but this vast devastation, desolation, made them act. Those undead moneylovers had hired Victoria by name to find the monster responsible for this. One might say they only care because this entire district represented a large monetary investment, but ultimately if this could be prevented from happening again it would be for the best for everyone. Victoria sniffed back tears as she continued to walk through the ruins looking for clues. Out of one of the remaining side alleys, three soldiers bearing the sigil of the Boros emerged. Immediately they took up arms and the leader of the three questions Victoria, "Hey you there, Identify yourself. The Azurious senate has declared this area under quarantine until further notice." Victoria pulled herself togather the instant she realized she was not alone. Raising her emotional mask again as a shield, she laughed, "You poor little soldier. Why do you not go on your little way. You are nothing more than a pawn." Victoria raises her hand out in front of her. She held her hand in position ready to snap her fingers and said, "Why don't you be a good pawn and run along? Sacrifice and contribution are not the same thing. I would gladly teach you the difference if you try me." There was the sound of large wings behind Victoria. A voice called out to her, "Cast that spell and it will be your last..." Victoria quickly turned and looked up. She covered her eyes as the figure was silhouetted against the sun as it stood on the rooftop. A drake made out of mist stood beside it. Victoria immediately knew who she was up against. His name slipped from her lips, "Jace... Beleren..." Back on our beloved plane of Paki: Victoria landed on feet. She immediately fell to her knee as she oriented herself to her surroundings. She looked around at the scorched land. This was definitely the right place. The battle she had with the others against the rats and goblins definitely happened here. The ground looked like it was starting to recover and there was not a soul in sight. This pleased Victoria. Planeswalking was not an exact science. If one was not familiar with a place one could planeswalk and land on the opposite end of the plane from the intended location. Victoria stood and thought for a moment. She pulled out a device that looked like the illegitimate child of a pocket watch and compass. She opened it. Now the group she was with was wildly diverse. She noticed that there had been a variety of mana used in the last fight however only one besides her was smart enough to delve into black magic. She looked at her device and set it to detect black mana. It pointed strongly off into the jungle. With a smile She began a casual stroll through the trees. She walked for a bit before the device lead her to a small village. Village or town? It was had to tell, the place was a bit big for a village but small for a town. So, it should be a Vilown or a Townage? Victoria smiled to herself as she thought about it. It really did not mattered. As she entered the town her device went haywire. The needle on its compass looking face spun around wildly. It told her that she would have to look for the source of the black mana herself. So, without complaint or comment, She began to wander through the town looking for Mot or any of the other planeswalkers.
