Roland knew that he had to keep himself awake due to two things. One being that he would be very rude, and two being that he had to write in his journal about his day, before he could even go to sleep. After bringing up about his journal, Avery had brought up about her sketchbook, saying that usually when she is alone that she likes to draw things. It seemed that they had somewhat of similarity, but somewhat of a difference as well, yet they were still in the same category for their privacy. Roland smiled when he heard about Avery’s hobby of drawing, yet even though he did, his eyes began to fade away into a weary state. Once Avery had noticed how tired he was, she stated to him that he needed to get some rest, whilst also mentioning that would volunteer to sleep on the couch. Roland already knew that even though she had the stubbornness for not accepting offers, she had no choice on this one and he knew that the only place she would sleep is in his bed. Besides, he didn’t mind sleeping on the couch, that and there is no guest room in the house. Before he could say anything, Avery got up off the couch to go into the kitchen to get something to drink, but Roland couldn’t keep focus on her due to the fact he was trying to keep his eyes open. Everything had started to turn blurry to him as he began to fall asleep right where he was. Just then, Avery came back asking for a pillow and blanket to sleep with, and it got Roland’s attention as he widened his eyes to answer her question. “Yeah……just…uhh….give me a minute and I’ll show you to my room.” He rubbed his eyes as he kept awake enough to get everything situated on the sleeping arrangements, and made his way off of the couch and headed towards his room. Once there, he went into his closet and grabbed his old blanket that was cleaned and folded, and then proceeded to grab an extra pillow off of his bed so he would be more comfortable when he slept on the couch. After doing so, he went back into the main room to get Avery’s attention. “Alright Avery, come here.”
