She was happy now that Loki was in her arms, away from the possible threats and dangers from the kingdom of Asgard. Odin was her enemy she wanted to take down. The king of Asgard was not just a threat to the Moors, but also a threat to her son. They didn't know anything about Loki since they were focused on the forest and the protector. Possibly, she could teach Loki how to defend himself such as her magic and defensive combat. She didn't know much about hand to hand combat. She usually would use whatever she has in mind that would work against her enemies. Maleficent didn't want Loki to be involved in the war, for it's her fear that he could be captured or worse, killed. She would whatever she can to protect her home and her family. Maleficent glared at the kingdom of Asgard, straight at the palace where the king resided. She looked down at Loki who snuggled into her, wrapping her one wing around him, safe in her arms. She looked back at the palace until her sight of seeing was interrupted by the small voice of the boy. She gave a sad sigh before she answered. "The King of Asgard is a cruel and hateful man to the Moors, my child. He sees us as a danger to the kingdom, but we bring nothing but peace. We are no threat, but they fear us as enchanted beings who could bring a curse on them. We are peaceful, not evil", she said to him softly with a slight sound of sadness as she wondered what would happen if the kingdom did succeed of taking the forest. It would be destroyed along with her and her son. Their rein would fall apart as well as each other. Loki could be taken for cruel slave labor while his mother would be tortured in the palace dungeons. But none of that was going to happen in her eyes. Not to her nor her son. He will stay safe when the time comes. She brought up a hand to his cheek. "Your'e safe here, my son. No harm would could to you if you stay strong", she told him gently.
