Your call where you wanna be, man. I see what you mean with the climate zones and all but the reason there's snowy climates in the west and not just generally in the north is because the western mountains are much more elevated (higher above sea-level) than the eastern peninsula. Also seeing as it's fantasy I didn't really care much for climate zones. North is generally colder, yes, but this is but one continent on this world that we know of. Who knows where on the world-map this continent is actually located?
