I think less of us being Rebels and instead maybe build up to a Saiyan Arc just like the first one in DBZ, except maybe with some new Saiyans.  I have couple idea's for a villain for an Arc, though maybe not an early one.  I personally like character development and starting out a bit weak and later becoming much, much powerful.
