Namekian Village, Elder's home
Transporting T'charrl and Viral didn't turn out to be all too difficult really, and the group was able to travel in good time even with the wounded. On the way there everyone got a bit more of a glimpse into the world itself, parts that hadn't been hit by the monsters thankfully. A small little settlement cropped up here and there, and as they passed the people below would wave, most likely to their own kind than the visitors. The chances of news about the fight having spread already were slim, and there was no real way to even confirm accounts of the battle just yet. That would have to come in time, and most likely during the conversation with the village elder. At the end of the day it would fall to the eldest member of their village and the other select leaders to decide whether or not the Dragonballs would be gifted out; these people were still strangers, and giving them something as powerful as the Dragonballs wasn't going to come easily, friend or not. Had they earned the right to use them? Perhaps, but that didn't make the decision any easier. Their destination village sat nestled in the mouth of a delta, on a wide scathe of land spanning some half a kilometer in all directions. It was really nice to look up from up above, with white structures dotting the otherwise vibrant green and blue landscape, spaced plenty far enough apart to give the settlement an open sort of air to it. Following the lead of the Namekians the shuttle was brought down a bit further inland, setting down away from the other homes and in an opening. Vegeta was a little concerned their arrival was bound to draw a crowd, not overly certain that was the best thing for Viral right now. Much to his relief then when he stepped out of the ship there was no one around, the other residents either being too afraid to come forth or respecting the face they were a bit weary from the battle. Had they noticed what was going on out here, he wondered? From where he stood you could no longer see the scene of the battle, though they had not come all that far really so maybe some of the larger attacks were spotted. The fact they were here and the monster was nowhere to be found ought to be indicative enough of the outcome, now hopefully these people saw its slaying as a positive. "Our elder lives in the center of the village, we just need to send word for the others to join us," the lead Namekian explained, having since set down Viral and joining Vegeta, "We'll not have very much say in the final decision, but the three of us saw what happened there, or at least the aftermath of it. Even to the least discerning eye it's obvious you slew those monsters, and as you said you've no evil intentions here. I believe you, but it's not my place to grant your request." With luck the elders would acknowledge what was done and at least consider their request, seeing as they had done Namek a great service. Some other villages had been hit quite hard by the monsters, so hard that they were wiped out. He and his men had been scouting out for the very same beasts when they took note of the fighting, and to find these people had slain the creatures they were seeking got them a big plus in their view. Glancing over at the shuttle as he watched people begin to get out he frowned, holding up a hand to signal everyone to wait. "Only a few will be joining us I'm afraid, and your friend here is one of those few. Anyone who speaks for your group can come along, we can't bring in a large crowd. However... If anyone would like some medical attention we can send someone out to see to your wounds." Takeshi thought this place was pretty nice, it certainly reminded him of his home. Heck, the houses even looked like his, only there were a lot more than where he lived. In a way it almost made him homesick, something he hadn't felt at all in their journey so far. Much as he was enjoying traveling with his friends he found a slight longing to be back in his own place, isolated to a point in his tucked away abode. Not that he'd be really alone either, Shu would no doubt be there with him, and T'charrl too if he came back to Earth with them. A bit flustered at still being stuck in the cot he craned his neck when the Namekian spoke out to them, wanting to get up and go see what these guys were all about. No one here included him amongst their 'leaders', he was certain of that, but he still wanted to listen in. Sighing in slight annoyance he frowned, watching as Yumi and Sasha both left the shuttle, a bit annoyed that the rebel got to go and he didn't. Sure, she was like a messenger or whatever for Korian, so he supposed she should go, but she hadn't even fought! "Man... I'm stuck here and they get to go talk with some great elder guy, so not fair," Takeshi grumbled, glancing over at Shu for a moment before smiling mischievously. "Hey buddy... How's about you help me walk there? Then we can go watch and listen to what's going on." "I think the negotiations can survive without your input, Takeshi," Ricken interjected, frowning as he looked across the shuttle, "I doubt you would even know where to begin with negotiations, or how to approach a situation without throwing your fist in someone's face. Am I wrong?" Judging by the indignant flush he got out of the Saiyan he'd think not, something he regarded with a slight smirk. Truth be told however he wasn't much fit for the more delicate matters himself, much as he might try to put himself forward. Every time he ever got into a discussion with a dignitary he would often grow impatient when they tried setting terms, even going as far to threaten one man and have to be dragged out of the room by Leto. So perhaps he wouldn't be joining his sister in the elder's home, but he was fine with that if the Saiyans were denied as well. Feeling another set of eyes on him Ricken glanced to the side, seeing Shu staring at him, or what he figured to be the absence of an arm.
