The entire rim of the sinkhole is surrounded by gleaming-metal shapes. Among the crowd, you see the strange spider-contraptions and isopods from the field, evidently for use as beasts of burden and as siege mechanisms.

 Just across from the bridge, the formation parts and reveals a possibly [i]massive[/i] Ironwood Deku. As tall as one of the isopods and dressed in glimmering gems, the figure strikes an impressive form. He stares at you imposingly, as if waiting for you to come to him.
