Generally I find it a lot of fun leading these roleplays when all goes well. I craft the maps myself using custom pre-made brushes and maps and update them each turn if necessary.
As you can see however, we never got all that far on the group one, but it speaks for itself since people tend to stop posting after a while as it is with all roleplays.

Like Mysidia (Final Fantasy II, and IV)?
Kingdom of Baron (Final Fantasy IV)?
Amn (Baldur's Gate)?
