Oh, so that's why I started out as a prisoner?

Fallout: Lone Star.  Coming soon to a PC and Xbox.  But not Playstation for another three months.

And don't worry.  Since it's a Bethesda game, you can survive with either console commands or by falling through that whole in the world mesh that's in the airlock's corner.
