I never actually stated they were claws, just that Favis perceived them as claws while his hand was stuck inside the locker getting cut. It's entirely possible that they could be something else entirely, and his impression that he was being cut by claws was mistaken, due to lack of information available to make an informed judgment.

The thing to remember here is that at least half of what I tell you is a complete lie, and the other half is made up on the spot.
