Kaziden, or Kaz, came across a land/ice bridge, across the Screaming Sea or whatever the name is- from a completely different continent. He's the warlord of Gray Marsh, which went and essentially conquered the majority of their continent, Hesh. Having completed their conquest by subduing the White Tundra clan, they found a land bridge that the White Tundra occasionally scouted and searched across- and Kaz was sent to find whether or not the new continent was worth capturing, conquering, or allying.
