I wonder if the two are related? Honestly I didn't want to throw everything out right at the start since It's been two days since the story began and what has been said to not be so overt, but Daniel basically amounts to a kid who doesn't really know how to be a kid since he's tied up in the responsibility of trying to take care of his dad and aunt.
