The sound of groaning from inside the net made Luz startle and swing the net around to her front so she could get a look at its contents. Then the--the [i]thing[/i] gave a scream before appearing to go limp again; the noise made Luz cringe and almost move to cover her ears, but she didn't because she was [i]not[/i] going to drop her net and let this girl-jellyfish-thing go. 

But of course, this scream wasn't enough. There was a fierce-looking, white-haired woman running straight for Luz, making her eyes widen in utter terror; she also finally dropped the net. Shit, shit, shit. This was a mistake. Now that her hands were free though, she got out her knife and yelled. "Get back! Don't take another step or...!" Think fast-- she knelt over the net and the woman it contained. "Or I'll kill this woman!"
