Luz, who was now quite frightened by the amount of commotion going on, obediently put the knife away, as there was now another person yelling at her to stop. It seemed that her threat had successfully put off the white-haired woman from brutally murdering her (for now), which was a pleasant surprise and her goal accomplished, so she decided that the best thing to do at this point was to simply let Gwen free. Keeping an eye on Leo, whom she had zero trust for, she untangled the net and then cast the empty thing aside. She prayed all the while that this was not going to come back and bite her on the ass. "I wanted to show the captain," she explained slowly to Balon. "I was of course fishing and didn't catch anything but her. I was so surprised that I decided I should take her back." There was a deep, shaky breath. "Didn't even know there were natives," she muttered and added in what she hoped was a lighthearted tone: "I guess we're having grubs tonight." Then her gaze wandered back to the fearsome, white-haired mermaid.
