Personality: Hans had a difficult upbringing, which reflects in his disposition. He has a deep distrust of authority figures and any form of what he perceives as “oppression.” He is idealistic to the point of being unrealistic. He wants to make the world a better place, but can't quite focus his efforts in a way that is productive. Hans is slow to trust, but can be easily manipulated if he thinks the cause is just. He is a good kid living in an unjust world. 

History: Hans was once the sweetest boy everyone knew. He loved his family and loved his life, all of this changed when his mother died. He became much more quiet and only confided in his sister. Then he became angry as his step mother, Melissa began ruining his family. She would belittle him when he was within earshot, or make him do outrageous chores that she would sabotage. Hans never let his sister know how bad he was being treated, out of fear that Melissa would start tormenting her. When his father died, he reached his breaking point. When he was sixteen he had a heated argument with his step mother, Hans called her “witch” and she struck him with a bottle. Before he slipped out of the house, he promised his sister that he would come back for her when he found a place they could live in peace. It has been five years and he still had not gone back to his sister. Now he lives with six other boys that share his rebellious views and seek to carve out a life in the wilderness.
